I originally studied and trained as an archaeologist, and worked for a number of years in the field of church archaeology and building conservation.

In the mid '90s I made a career shift to the film industry, working as a visual effects artist, and currently head a department at a major London visual effects studio.

​

​

I live in South Oxfordshire, where the beauty of the local countryside provides plenty of artistic inspiration.  In addition to art, I enjoy walking, photography, music and cinema.
